Rebuttal Responses to the Department of Health and educating the Legislature.

THEY ARE TAKING NOTICE!

Great job to everyone that sent in emails, letters and calls to the Department of Health (DOH), Legislature and Governor Gregoire! We received quite a few emails that went to , as this email address forwarded on emails to 16 key contacts in the government.

Key and influential people in the WA State government are starting to learn about colon hydrotherapy; it is not practicing medicine, it should not be limited to doctors, and it should continue as an Independent Wellness Profession through state regulation.

Our job to educate the government has JUST BEGUN! It is not over just because the DOH is not accepting more rebuttals to there draft position that Colon Hydrotherapy is Practicing Medicine. The colon hydrotherapy industry is at immediate risk of being shut down if the DOH does not change its incorrect position. They need our help!

You need JavaScript enabled to view it stating that you believe that colon hydrotherapy is not the practice of medicine and that you would like to see it regulated in the State of Washington YOU STILL CAN AND SHOULD! Please keep the emails coming and get everyone you know involved, especially doctors and nurses.

We need to do this to ensure that colon hydrotherapy continues to be offered in WA State, not limited to only doctors performing it. We need to do this to make a statement to our government and community that

1. WE ARE THE ONES THAT KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE WE USE IT IN IT OUR LIVES,
2. WE WANT TO CHOOSE HOW WE CARE FOR OUR BODIES AND BY WHOM.

We want our government to make great choices. If they don't get the information from us then who do you think they will get it from? Governor Gregoire needs our help. The DOH needs our help. The Legislature needs our help.
